Happy Sunday! I know I haven’t posted in a while. Between a mix of my schedule and my lack of inspiration I’ve taken a little time off, but I’m back today for a girl’s room refresh. And I’m so excited to share this room refresh with you.
I have a client that wants to refresh her daughter’s room. We wanted to keep things simple so we are mainly refreshing the linens….some new bedding and new window treatments to give Miss Elizabeth a new room!
The Inspiration
Elizabeth is like many little girls and she loves unicorns and pink so I had my direction, now I just needed the inspiration…that one pice that would start it all.
As soon as I saw this sheet set, I knew that I had my muse. This was my inspiration…I was ready to put together the rest of the room. I did have a bit of a scare when they disappeared from my cart but thankfully after a little more Amazon hunting I was able to find them again and in stock. But act fast my friends, these are selling fast.
The Bedding
Next up we needed a comforter or duvet or quilt. While I love the look of a duvet, I absolutely HATE stuffing a duvet cover with an insert. So I love when I can find a comforter that offers the look of a fluffy duvet but without the hassle. Thankfully retailers must have felt our pain because there are more options out there these days.
The Finishing Touches…
And then we get to the really fun part…the finishing touches that make the space. This is probably my favorite part. I love adding those extra little touches that take a space from ordinary to extraordinary. Whether it’s fun pillows on a bed, that perfect accessory on the cocktail table or that fabulous handbag, it’s the finishing touches that make the room or the outfit.
More pom-poms! Pom-poms are just polka dots in a furry outfit and you know how I feel about polka dots!
A Few Extras…
A few other pieces that will look great in this room but I also think this “Dream Big” piece is a piece that would work in pretty much any girl’s room.
Sometimes its the simplest of things that make a world of difference in a kids room. A simple girl’s room refresh to change up a space and hopefully make a little girl smile. I’ve always believed that you don’t have to break the bank to have a cute space. Now of course, don’t get me wrong…you can easily break the bank for a beautiful space.
Message me if you’d like more ideas on a girl’s room….furniture, paint colors, lamps, etc.
I love putting together kids rooms! I can’t wait to see the finished look!
Have a great week!
