Twirl like no one is watching. The allure of the printed midi dress is that you can wear it almost anywhere, with almost anything. Some would say that it’s endlessly appropriate and versatile. And I couldn’t agree more.
You can wear a printed midi dress for another day at the office, a date, a brunch, a wedding, and the list doesn’t stop there. No matter the occasion the printed midi dress is quickly becoming that wardrobe staple that you can wear year-round.
As soon as I laid eyes on this beauty, it was love at first sight. I love the color scheme of this dress and I knew I could wear it for multiple events. Twirl into any occasion in this dress…
My Printed Midi Dress
- Dress: Target – Women’s Floral Print Long Sleeve High Neck Pleated Midi Dress – A New Day™ Light Blue/Purple
- Shoes: (Old) – These are so old. They might be 10 years old. I’ve never wanted to get rid of them. They are unique but at the same time classic. They are that fun pop that I like to add to so many looks. Found the exact ones on Poshmark. Here they are in a different size.
The midi dress, with the voluminous sleeve in beautiful prints and fabrics — that will be the piece of the season…it’s an easy way for lots of women to dress for work and weekend.

Wedding Look
Pair this dress with a great pair of strappy sandals and a clutch for your next role as a wedding guest.
Office-Appropriate
Just add a great pair of nude heels to make this dress office-appropriate. When temps cool down, the tie detail of this dress will look great peeking out from under a blazer.
Brunch
Fashion sneakers are having quite the moment right now. You can literally wear them with everything. I don’t know why I waited so long to get a pair of my very own. I have the P448 and I do not regret buying them. They pretty much go with anything.
Make It Your Own
There are plenty of styles out there that will keep you warm while still looking stylish. Here are a few more that caught my eye…
Which will you choose?

My goodness. This print midi dress reminds me of dresses from my youth. Must have been the seventies. Bows at the neckline were popular then. Fabric of choice was, I think, voile. Vintage. Too bad I did not keep mine.
Everything is circling back from the past. If only we could see into the future and know which pieces to save and which to toss. What trends will come back again? I’m sure you had some great dresses in your youth!
