Five Fab Finds: Target

This week’s FIVE FAB FINDS comes from Target. I really am loving all their new lines and what they have to offer especially the A New Day line. Great additions to your wardrobe.

Floral Top/Cami

Feeling fun and flirty with this floral top. Thought this top would be a fun addition to my wardrobe. I love camis like this because I feel like you can wear it all year around and really do a lot with it. It’s a piece that you can wear in more ways than one. Wear with shorts or white jeans in the summer. Or with dress pants and a blazer for work. It would also look cute with a pencil skirt. The options are endless. I can definitely find 3 ways to wear it.

Clear Handbag with Floral Removable Pouch

I actually had my eye on this black laser cut bag but then I saw this clear one and thought it was more fun. Clear bags seem to be trending right now and I thought this was a playful way to join in on the trend with the floral removable pouch. I love wearing neutrals but find that it’s always fun to add that pop of color with accessories. This clear tote will be a fun addition to any neutral outfit.

“Do Not Disturb” Straw Hat

A straw hat is always a good idea for the summer. The “Do Not Disturb” hat has been around for awhile. I coveted it when it first came out but it had too high of a price tag for me to spend on a hat. Hats aren’t something I wear often so it’s definitely not a splurge item for me. So when I saw that Target had a version and it’s only $5 I thought….YES!! Went on a cruise last summer and found that I was wearing a straw hat every single day so I thought this one would be a fun one for pool or beach days this summer.

Pink Block Heels

Another block heel….yes. I have quite the collection. After all, they are my favorite Spring/Summer shoe. I was lucky enough to get these on sale last year, but they are still available. “Pink Peacock” is considered to be one of the Spring Colors for 2019 — an intense magenta that can not be ignored. It’s not a color that I can wear in an entire outfit but a pop of it in an accessory is the perfect way to introduce it into my wardrobe. Get ready, I think we are going to be seeing a lot of megawatt hues this season – from orange to green to pink.

Earrings

A girl can never go wrong with a statement pair of earrings. I spotted these SugarFix Baublebar leaf/petal earrings at Target this week and grabbed them because I thought they’d be a cheerful addition to my Spring/Summer outfits. These would really cheer-up an all white outfit.

Look 3 Work Ready:

  • Top: Target – Floral print crepe cami
  • Pants: Zara (Old). I love these from Target with the chunky belt. Every woman should have a great pair of black pants in her closet. I’m a big fan of ankle length pants. Check out these from Target. I love Theory pants — they have great cut to them. I have several pair in my closet – such a classic style and cut to them. I’m obsessed with these scallop detail Rebecca Taylor pants. Sensible flat front pair for less than $100 from Nordstrom. Ponte knit pair with a little stretch available in regular and petite.
  • Blazer: Helmut Lang (Old). A staple blazer from Nordstrom that you’ll turn to time and time again. You’ll be simple but fashionably cool with this white blazer. Love the cut.
  • Shoes: Old. Option from Target – simple black pump. I have several pair of Marc Fisher boots – I love them, they are super comfy. Love these black snake print Marc Fisher heels from Nordstrom. (Great heel!)
  • Bag: Kate Spade (Old). Found this laptop tote by Tory Burch that’ll be a great substitute. Truly a carry all tote.
