Happy Friday, friends! How I wear my favorite graphic tee you ask? Well, honestly it all depends on my mood. I would like to believe that I’m not alone when I say that I have a tendency to dress for my mood and how I’m feeling about my body that day.
I used to work in a more professional environment where I had to dress-up for client meetings, but not so much anymore. Which isn’t really a bad thing. With this new career path, I’m getting to embrace my casual side and experiment with style in new and different ways. So let’s talk about how I wear my favorite graphic tee.
I find myself reaching for graphic tees more and more these days. Let’s face it they are easy and you can do so much with them. Tuck them into high waisted jeans, wear a blazer over them, pair them with a skirt or a suit. I mean the list can go on.
So I’m challenging myself to see how many different ways I can wear a graphic tee. I mean if a graphic tee is going to become part of my uniform the least I can do is figure out how to change it up.
My mission lately is to make sure that when I buy a piece I’m able to wear it multiple ways. I mean they say that before you buy something you should think of at least 3 ways to wear it.
I’m challenging myself to 5.
How I Wear My Favorite Graphic Tee
With Jeans
For the days that I want to be comfy but still look cute. I grab a pair of my favorite straight leg jeans, my favorite graphic tee, and my leopard sneakers.
- Jeans: (old) But they are a straight leg style. For whatever reason, I like the combo of the tucked-in tee & straight-leg jeans. I have personally found when tucking in my tee I prefer a high-waisted jean. (Getting back to that camouflaging certain areas….they can hide the midsection)
- Sneakers: P448 John Leopard sneakers
- Tee: Chaser – Love Cat Tee. Find it here or here or here.
Add a Little Sparkle
Did you catch this sequin skirt that I posted on my InstaStories this past weekend?
Maybe it’s the holiday season that’s upon us or maybe I just needed a little sparkle but why not pair it with a fun sequin skirt. And is there anything better than a leopard print sequin midi skirt? I think not!
- Skirt: Walmart – Scoop sequin midi skirt (comes in 2 colors. I got the natural leopard)
- Boots: Nordstrom Rack – Splendid boots. Sadly mine has sold out but Nordstrom Rack is probably my favorite place to get shoes. You can find so many great ones and for a good price. Can’t beat that!
- Bag: Chanel (old. Vintage find)
Can you believe this skirt is from Walmart! And it’s sooooo good. I’m obsessed with it. I wore it with a black sweater to a Christmas party to dress it up a little but why not dress it down with a graphic tee? I mean a little sparkle is ok for a weekday, right?
Just a midi skirt
Well, it’s not just any midi skirt…it’s a red leopard midi skirt. But in case you aren’t ready to add sparkle to your look, a plain midi skirt can look just as cute. This skirt is another piece that I’ve gotten a ton of wear out of. Check out this post, this one and last but not least this one.
This is one of my go-to outfits where I just have to decide which shoes to wear. Sneakers or boots? Ok, another decision that has to be made is whether or not a jacket is needed…moto jacket or denim jacket?
Wear it with a Suit
Casual Chic: Blazer & Jeans
- Blazer: Level 99 blazer from Evereve (I’m wearing a small. I’d say TTS.)
- Jeans: Good American – I found these on the clearance rack at Nordstrom Rack. Never know what you can find hiding on the racks!
And we’ll end how I wear my favorite graphic tee with my uniform…a blazer, jeans and a graphic tee. A combo that I will never grow tired of. The beauty of this look is you can change it just by changing your accessories.
Pair it with jeans and sneakers for that casual chic laid back look or jazz it up with a clutch, heels, and statement earrings.
So I end with this…how do you wear your favorite graphic tee? Leave a comment. I’d love to hear how you style your favorite graphic tee. I’m always looking for new ideas.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!
