One way to achieve a Blazer Refresh

Can’t say that I normally get excited when temps drop into the 50-60s especially in April, but I didn’t complain on Saturday. The cooler temps gave me a chance to pull out this blazer and give it a little more wear. I bought this blazer last October, but haven’t really gotten to wear it.

So when I went to get dressed on Saturday, I knew I’d wear this blazer but wanted to spice it up and change the look a little. I wanted a blazer refresh. But how to change up my typical blazer and jean look? How do I not wear my blazer uniform of a graphic tee and statement jewelry? This statement belt from H&M came to my rescue. Picked this belt up a few weeks ago and have been waiting to wear it.

Do you ever just put together an outfit from your closet and you smile ear to ear? I hope you have. That’s how I felt Saturday night when I put on this look. This blazer has a tiny print and there’s a spec of this cloudy sage color. How lucky did I get that this bodysuit was the perfect color and already in my closet. Score!

These are the flare ankle jeans from Old Navy. I mentioned these in Friday’s post…where I not only talk about my latest finds from Old Navy but my desire to test other jean silhouettes. I was surprised that I liked the flare look on me. If I’m being honest, I didn’t think I’d like it on me since I’m short. But I do have a confession: I had to chop off a few inches on the bottom to make them the right length for me. Story of my life. Thank goodness the frayed hem is still trending.

Make it Your Own:

It’s no secret that I love blazers and block heels. So I was excited when I found a way to refresh my blazer look. This belt would look great over a dress too. May try that with this great dress that I got from Old Navy. Stay tuned for a post on that. I’m really excited. I’ve had so much luck at Old Navy lately.

How do you refresh your go-to look?
