Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I feel like I was very productive which is always a good feeling — crossed a few things off of my list. YAY! But now let’s get to the good stuff. These green linen shorts caught my eye some time ago on H&M.com but they weren’t available for purchase yet. Sad face. Every so often I would check to see if they were available only to be let down that they weren’t. So when they were finally in stock in my size, I was like a kid getting ice cream from the ice cream truck. So I’m excited to share my green “mom” shorts worn two ways.
For any newbies, you’ll realize that I’m all about versatile pieces that I can mix and match and dress up or down. While I love adding those unique, fabulous pieces to my closet, I also want those pieces that I can wear over and over again. And these green linen shorts fit the bill. I think I’ll be wearing these a lot this summer.
I’m loving the “mom” shorts trend right now. While this trend may have started with denim shorts, I’m excited to report that it now engulfs those Bermuda linen shorts and elastic waist band shorts. Can I get a WOOHOO! I’ve always been a fan of shorts with a longer inseam and in the past they weren’t always easy to find. But then they became a trend and I find more than I have days to wear them.

Weekend Ready
While there’s no vacation to Belize or anywhere else anytime soon, this is still a great outfit to wear on a beautiful weekend day. Even if all I’m doing is hanging out by my parents’ pool. lol.

Headed to the Office
With everything going on, I might not have as many options to wear this matching suit to the office at least I’ll be prepared for when it’s back to the office on a regular basis.

As I mentioned before “mom” shorts have always been a part of my closet. I prefer the longer shorts that are not all about showing off the legs. Unfortunately, I got a message that said there would be some delays with my order so until then I’ll just eagerly wait for it to arrive on my doorstep.
