Happy Monday, friends! I’m coming to you today with a few capsule wardrobe additions.
You might still be wondering how to build the perfect capsule wardrobe. Have you checked out my other capsule wardrobe post? You might see the pieces that I share and think these aren’t for me.
The key to a capsule wardrobe is figuring out what works best for you. We are all different. Each of us has a different shape and a different lifestyle so it’s important to find the unique combination of pieces that work best for you. Finding the perfect capsule wardrobe isn’t going to happen overnight. Building the perfect capsule wardrobe is going to be messy at first….it’ll take a little trial and error.
Let’s be honest…it takes time finding the pieces that fit your body, your lifestyle and your personality. How often do you go shopping for a clothing item and find it on the first try? Not so often, so it’ll take time to build the perfect capsule wardrobe.
And don’t forget that you essentially get to build a capsule wardrobe for each season so there might be some overlap and some pieces that work for multiple seasons.

Camo Pants
I can honestly say that I never thought that camo would be something that I would add to my closet but let’s face it…it’s everywhere. And it has quickly turned into a neutral and has flooded the runways, streets, and shopping racks. So I catered and decided to add a pair to my closet.

Graphic Tee
Can you have too many graphic tees? Not in my opinion but like I said…check back on Wednesday to see the great black top that I’m adding to my closet. It’s not all about graphic tees here…I promise.

You know I love my Good American jeans. Well, a few styles are currently on sale at Nordstrom and you can always get some styles at Nordstrom Rack.
Statement Blazer
A capsule wardrobe isn’t complete without a blazer…or two…or even three. We started with a black blazer and before we get too bold I wanted to introduce this black & white knit blazer that I scored on Amazon! I actually spotted this cutie at Last Call but did a little research and found it for half the price at Amazon. You can never go wrong with a great blazer but a knit one is even better. It’s like having your cake and eating it too. You get the polished look of a blazer but the comfort of a cardigan.
I’ve paired it with jeans here but it also looks great with black pants.

Well…
I hope the building of your capsule wardrobe is going well and remember…it’s not going to happen overnight and it will get messy. It will take some trial and error and some time to find the right pieces for you.
You might even need to pull everything out of your closet and really sort through it. Have a keep pile, a donate, a maybe, etc, etc.
