Five Fab Finds: Pool Day

This weekend is screaming for a pool day. This girl is ready to soak up some sun & relax by the pool. I feel like I’ve been going non-stop and haven’t had as much time to lounge by the pool. I bought all these cute swimsuits last year and they are starting to feel neglected.

When vacays approach, I like to have a few new things to wear so before my cruise last summer I did some serious swimsuit shopping. I had this desire to have a different swimsuit for every day. Silly, I know. So, I told myself it was allowed but only if I found affordable swimsuits.

Amazon came to my rescue yet again with my discovery of Cupshe swimsuits. I ordered one to try and see what the quality was like and how they fit. Let’s just say that I proceeded to order 3 more.

I’m excited to announce that some are still available. I loved this one-piece because it has underwire and adjustable straps. All I had to do was throw on my denim shorts and I was set. It just looked like I was wearing a fabulous bodysuit. No words for the one-shoulder….neon orange is not a color I am generally drawn to, but this one was just so much fun for summer & it looks great once you get a little sun & are rocking a tan. (There was another one that I ordered but the color I got is no longer available but here’s the same style in another color…it’s SOOOO cute.)

No pool day is complete without a great straw hat and I have been loving this one I just purchased from Amazon. It’s very sturdy. (Unfortunately, I wore one of my straw hats at a waterpark last summer and it didn’t survive.)

Gotta have a great pair of shades. These look just like the Celine sunglasses.

Don’t forget to protect your skin. I’ve been using this on my face for years. Sometimes I’m a bad girl & don’t use as much sunscreen on my body as I should because I want a little color. But when it comes to my face…I ALWAYS protect it. This also wears great under your makeup.

Bonus:

When I do get a little too much sun, I actually turn to an oldie but a goodie…

I’m not sure how long Noxzema has been around but this is actually what I first started washing my face with. Over the years I’ve tried other products and some I do like, but I often go back to Noxzema because it’s kind to my skin. It doesn’t cause breakouts, it cleans it and its healing. It truly does help with sunburns…it’s cold and soothing to your sunburned skin. My skin has not been happy with me lately so I’ve turned to Noxzema for help. (You can also get it at Target.)
