Fall Finds: Target

It is officially Fall! The lines at Starbucks are full of people ordering Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Salted Carmel Mochas and of course pumpkin cream cheese muffins. Depending on where you live you may already be enjoying cooler temps, here in Austin we are all anxiously awaiting to see if this “cold front” actually comes through this week.

In case it wasn’t clear to you yet, animal prints and plaids are going to continue to fill the streets and racks this Fall and Winter. You’ll see these prints in warm hues likes browns, red and ochre. With the introduction of a few lines at Target, we don’t have to break the bank anymore embracing these latest trends.

I spent the other evening walking the aisles of Target and a few pieces caught my eye.

Matching Set

You know I love a good matching set and this one does not disappoint. Sadly, this set won’t be joining the racks of my closet, but that’s only because the color was a little off for my coloring. The set matched my hair too closely. If you have lighter or darker hair then I think you’ll have a hit on your hands. It’s definitely a set worth trying.

Wear this set together or split it up and mix and match the pieces with other items in your closet. Embrace pattern mixing and pair it with this dress or go for a more classic combination and wear it with this dress.

Leopard Sweater

Well, I can’t wear this leopard sweater with my ever favorite leopard midi skirts. I guess this just means that I need to get a great solid black midi skirt. I’ll tell you that I actually ordered one from Walmart but it was an epic fail. So, I’ve added a black midi skirt to my shopping list, but in the meantime, this will look great with black pants for the office or a great pair of jeans. I really like this sweater because it’s super lightweight which is key in Austin since we never really know what to expect with the weather.

Accessories

If you follow me on instagram then you’ve seen this hat and bag before. And prepare yourself because you’re going to see a lot of this bag. I love the color. And the style is very on-trend. It has a long strap that you can attach and wear it on your shoulder or crossbody.

I remember a few years back I really wanted to get an oxblood colored bag and I never did. This bag from Target is a great way to go for a trendy-colored bag but at a totally affordable price.

Table Decor

This little collection of pieces caught my eye while I was exploring all the new home decor at Target. This collection would make a great quick and easy centerpiece. If you are looking for a simple but elegant table decor for fall here are a few pieces that could grace your tables for the Fall season…
